  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour, for tossing chips

Method

  1. 1Prepare the classic pumpkin bread batter through the point of combining wet and dry ingredients.
  2. 2Toss chocolate chips with 1 tbsp flour to help suspend them in the batter, then fold in gently.
  3. 3Divide batter between two greased and floured 9x5-inch loaf pans.
  4. 4Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 62–72 minutes, until a toothpick comes out mostly clean (a little melted chocolate is fine).

Tips

  • Mini chocolate chips distribute more evenly than standard-size if you prefer chocolate in every bite.
